Gaga then posts the lyrics to her song "Born This Way" in a Twit-Longer Tweet.
Since then, her little monsters have controlled Twitter. Almost every day, the "countdown" number (ie #1day) trended.
But today is today! At midnight this morning, "Born This Way" was released to radio stations and iTunes. Oh, and it was released on Gaga Daily.
You know, Ellen was close.
